OO gauge Layouts
Craigport is a fictitious location on the south bank of the River Tay, roughly in the area where the real town of Balmerino is situated. Due to the arrival of the railway, it developed from a small fishing village to a modest sized town. The subsequent increase in freight traffic included: raw jute in and finished products out, stone from a nearby quarry, dredged river sand and a small seasonal traffic from commercial salmon fishing.
This layout can be exhibited in 2 forms - Straight or Curved

Our depiction of Arbroath Station. Set in the decade from 2000 - 09 for running purposes, though we have used some modelling license and kept the old mills, that used to be near the level crossing, instead of the supermarket and car park that presently occupies the area.. See a selection of pictures on the Gallery page.
